Why this page exists
Kenyan law has no "imprint" of the German or Austrian kind. What it does require is narrower: regulation 16(c) of the Companies (General) Regulations, 2015 obliges a Kenyan company to state its registered name on its website. That name is in the first line of the table above.
This site is also written in German and Italian and does speak to customers in Europe. Article 5 of Directive 2000/31/EC — the e-Commerce Directive — lists what a provider established in the Union has to disclose. Little Kokoto Limited is established in Kenya, not in the Union, so that Article does not bind us. We have followed it anyway. A visitor should not have to guess who is at the other end of a roof.
Links that leave this site
This site links outwards in two places only, and both only once you click. The WhatsApp buttons open wa.me, a service of Meta. The email links open your own mail programme. What happens on those services is governed by their terms, not ours, and we have no influence over their content.
About the content
We write the texts on this site ourselves, including the parts where reed is the weaker choice. The service-life figures and the comparison table are honest estimates for the Kenyan coast, not guarantees: what a roof actually does depends on its pitch, its exposure and the care it gets. Nothing on this site is a binding offer. A quote is binding, and a quote is written for one specific roof after we have stood on it.

Warum es diese Seite gibt
Das kenianische Recht kennt kein Impressum nach deutschem oder österreichischem Muster. Es verlangt etwas Engeres: Regulation 16(c) der Companies (General) Regulations, 2015 verpflichtet eine kenianische Gesellschaft, ihren registrierten Namen auf ihrer Website zu nennen. Dieser Name steht in der ersten Zeile der Tabelle oben.
Diese Website ist außerdem auf Deutsch und Italienisch verfasst und spricht damit erkennbar auch Kundinnen und Kunden in Europa an. Artikel 5 der Richtlinie 2000/31/EG, der E-Commerce-Richtlinie, zählt auf, was ein in der Union niedergelassener Anbieter offenlegen muss. Little Kokoto Limited ist in Kenia niedergelassen, nicht in der Union. Dieser Artikel bindet uns also nicht. Wir halten uns trotzdem daran. Wer über ein Dach verhandelt, soll nicht raten müssen, mit wem.

Diese Website verlinkt nach außen an genau zwei Stellen, und beide erst, wenn Sie klicken. Die WhatsApp-Schaltflächen öffnen wa.me, einen Dienst von Meta. Zum Inhalt
Die Texte auf dieser Website schreiben wir selbst, auch die Stellen, an denen Reet die schwächere Wahl ist. Die Angaben zur Lebensdauer und die Vergleichstabelle sind ehrliche Schätzungen für die kenianische Küste, keine Zusagen: Was ein Dach wirklich leistet, hängt von Neigung, Lage und Pflege ab. Nichts auf dieser Website ist ein verbindliches Angebot. Verbindlich ist ein Kostenvoranschlag, und den schreiben wir für ein bestimmtes Dach, nachdem wir daraufgestanden sind.

Perché esiste questa pagina
Il diritto keniota non conosce le "note legali" nella forma tedesca o austriaca. Richiede qualcosa di più circoscritto: la regulation 16(c) delle Companies (General) Regulations, 2015 obbliga una società keniota a indicare la propria denominazione registrata sul proprio sito. Quella denominazione è la prima riga della tabella qui sopra.
Questo sito è scritto anche in tedesco e in italiano e si rivolge quindi, in modo riconoscibile, anche a clienti europei. L'articolo 5 della direttiva 2000/31/CE, la direttiva sul commercio elettronico, elenca ciò che un prestatore stabilito nell'Unione deve rendere accessibile. Little Kokoto Limited è stabilita in Kenya, non nell'Unione, quindi quell'articolo non ci vincola. Lo seguiamo lo stesso. Chi tratta la costruzione di un tetto non deve indovinare con chi sta parlando.
